If not, we will replace them at no cost to you. When placing an order with us, you will receive premium seeds that have been examined to guarantee a minimum germination rate of 95%. (two-seed minimum). The viability of a seed can sometimes be determined by certain visual indicators, but we strongly advise you to try to germinate every seed you bought, regardless of size, color, or density.

You must strictly adhere to the germination method outlined below in order to be covered by the Royal King Seeds 95% Germination Promise.

  1. Put your marijuana seeds in a glass of distilled water. (distilled, rain, or spring). Your seeds should soak for 14 to 18 hours. Within the first several hours, they should reach the bottom of the glass. Tap them lightly if they don’t move on their own.
  2. At the end of the soaking period, pour the water and seeds onto a layer of paper towel on a plate, and drain off any excess water.
  3. Place the platter in a warm, dark location while completely covering the seeds with the damp paper towel. During this time, the temperature should remain between 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. (To keep this temperature, consider placing the seeds on a warm appliance, such as the back of the fridge, or use a seed mat.)
  4. Keep the paper towel well-saturated throughout the germination process, but avoid letting the seeds remain in a pool of water. Check on your seeds every so often, keeping an eye out for the developing taproot.
  5. When the taproot measures 1/4 to 3/4 inch in length, the seeds are ready for planting. It typically takes three to seven days, but it could take as long as two weeks.
  6. Please be aware that the Germination Promise only applies to the germination of cannabis seeds. Our Germination Promise does not apply to any problems with plant growth after germination due to the vast range of human and external elements involved in the growing period. If you want to be eligible for replacement, you must adhere to the expanded guidelines mentioned below.

The Germination Process for Cannabis Seeds

Your cannabis seeds will first begin to grow after germination. Your seeds ought to develop into strong, cannabis plants that produce a lot of cannabis if they germinate correctly. Three conditions must be met for cannabis seeds to sprout:

Moisture
When the taproot breaks free of the seed shell, it must have easy and immediate access to water in order to develop.

Darkness
Plant roots are buried beneath the soil and likewise, this first tiny root needs darkness to develop.

Warmth
Like most living things, cannabis roots develop best when they are kept comfortably warm, 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Optional Scuffing

Cannabis seeds’ shells can be scratched with fine sandpaper (60 to 200 grit), which makes it easier for water to penetrate and promote germination. Making a tube out of a piece of sandpaper with the textured side facing inside is the simplest method for accomplishing this. Drop your seeds in by placing your thumb over one end. Next, shake the tube 20 times while holding your finger over the open end of the tube.

Extended Information

To begin the “Water Glass/Paper Towel” Cannabis Seed Germination Method, you will need a few simple items you probably already have around the house:

  • Thick paper towel with no dyes or perfumes, preferably unbleached
  • Distilled or spring water (bottled), or rain water. (We cannot guarantee successful germination in tap water. If you must use tap water, pour it a few days early, and let it sit out before beginning the germination process.)
  • A glass or cup, about 8oz in size
  • A glass or plastic dinner plate (do not use styrofoam)
  • Tweezers (don’t touch the seeds with your bare hands)

Step One

Fill the glass with water that is at ambient temperature (75–80 degrees Fahrenheit). Cannabis seeds should be taken out of their glass, pharmaceutical-grade vial and put in the water.

Note: Don’t fill each glass with more than five seeds. For every five seeds you want to grow, use a different glass and paper towel.

The seeds could settle to the bottom of the glass after soaking for a few hours. If not, giving the seeds a light tap with your finger should cause them to sink. Leave the seeds for an additional hour or two and try again if some of them do not sink.

Within the first several hours of the process, your cannabis seeds should be completely soaked. As a result, they are protected from any dust or debris that might land on the water’s surface. Leave the seeds in a warm, dark location for 14 to 18 hours after they have all settled to the bottom of the glass.

Precaution: You shouldn’t leave the cannabis seeds in the water in the glass for longer than 18 hours.

Leave the seeds in a warm, dark location for 14 to 18 hours after they have all settled to the bottom of the glass.

Step Two

After 14 to 18 hours:

Fold the paper towel several times and place it on the platter. Pour everything from the glass onto the plate, letting the cannabis seeds land on the paper towel as a result. The paper towel needs to be wet with water after absorbing it. If there is any extra water, carefully drain it out; the towel should be damp but not drenched. Using the tweezers, distribute the seeds so they are approximately an inch apart over the center of the paper towel. As a result, the taproots don’t tangle as they expand. To completely cover the seeds, fold the paper towel’s sides over. Set the paper towel gently on top of the seeds without pressing it down.

Step Three

Keep the plate at room temperature and in a dark area. As the seeds germinate, keep the paper towel damp. As required, mist or sprinkle water on the plate. Maintain a temperature of 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The amount of water you’ll need to add depends depend on how humid the space is. Every few hours, check sure the paper towel is still damp to make sure it hasn’t dried out.

Step Four

Typically, it can take up to seven days for the cannabis seeds to form a strong taproot. Some seeds can take up to two weeks to germinate. When the taproot is between 1/4 and 3/4 inch long, the seeds are prepared for planting. The taproot length should be checked on the seeds several times per day, but don’t handle the tender new growth.

When the taproot measures 1/4 to 3/4 inch in length, the seeds are ready to be planted. To keep track of the taproot length, check the seeds a few times every day, but avoid touching the tender new growth.

Warning: If you deviated from this procedure even slightly, your order is no longer covered by the Royal King Seeds Germination Promise.Even if you use the above procedure, there are still a lot of potential causes for your seeds to fail to sprout. It is not feasible for us to guarantee that every seed we offer will germinate because seeds are a 100% natural product.

If your Cannabis Seeds do not germinate, it is possible…

  • The room is too warm or too cool
  • The paper towel dried out too much, or there was too much water on the plate
  • The seeds were not soaked long enough
  • The water had too many additives
  • The seeds are no longer viable (if you purchased them months or years ago)

Place the seeds back into a cup of water as a “last ditch” effort if you used this approach perfectly and your seeds still did not germinate. Soak them for however long it takes the seeds to split apart and reveal the taproot. then carry on with Step 2.
