Get pumped for this summer’s High Times Cannabis Cup Massachusetts: People’s Choice Edition 2022.
We’re excited to share that the many distinctive products in Massachusetts will come together for our newest cannabis cup competition! The state already has a thriving cannabis business with many of interesting items to sample.
Between September 7 and 9, products can be submitted for review at NETA dispensaries in Franklin, Massachusetts. Kit sales will begin on September 24. (first come, first serve availability). The deadline for judges to examine and evaluate all Massachusetts cannabis businesses have to offer is November 13. The winners of the cup will be revealed on November 27 during a digital awards show.

The first-place winners who have won the coveted High Times Cannabis Cup trophy—an honorable distinction that demonstrates that their product excels beyond the rest of the competition—will be announced when the judges have submitted their comments.
The trophy, which Alex and Allyson Grey created, is constructed of zinc with a 24-karat gold finish. Winner decals to stick on your product packaging, a mention in our online article featuring the winners of the High Times Cannabis Cup Massachusetts: People’s Choice Edition 2022 (as well as being listed as a winner on cannabiscup.com), and of course, inclusion of the winning brands for each category on High Times social media are all provided to first-place winners (shared on the High Times timeline, story and story highlights).
Second-place winners will also receive a half-page advertisement in High Times magazine, second-place art assets for product packaging, a silver medal made of pewter, the aforementioned judge’s report, as well as the opportunity to share their victory online and on social media.
Third-place winners will also receive a half-page advertisement in High Times magazine in addition to a bronze medal made of pewter and bronze plating with a matching bronze ribbon and the winning category engraved on it.
Products can succeed in other ways even if they don’t place first, second, or third in their respective categories. To support Massachusetts cannabis businesses and everything they have to offer, all goods and brands will be listed and tagged on social media. We also give a shout-out and express our gratitude to all competitors for taking part in our competition during our awards show.
