How long does cannabis germination take? Seed hasn't cracked after 3 days
Dropped my seed in water 3 days ago, then moved to paper towel method. Still no taproot. Am I being impatient or is the seed dead?
It's a Blue Dream feminized seed from Royal King Seeds. Keeping temp around 75°F.

Some seeds take up to 7 days. Don't give up yet! Make sure your paper towel stays moist (not soaked) and the temp stays above 70°F. Patience is key with germination.

Blue Dream is a solid strain — those seeds should pop. Sometimes scuffing the seed lightly with sandpaper helps water penetrate the shell. Try that if it doesn't crack by day 5.
