Community Guidelines
The RKS grower community works because it stays welcoming — to first-time growers and 25-year veterans, to autoflower fans and photoperiod diehards alike. These guidelines keep it that way. Post like the room is full of people who love this as much as you do.
Every grower and every style is welcome
This community is for people who love growing, full stop. No approach makes you a better or worse grower than anyone else.
- Autoflower and photoperiod are both valid. So are indoor and outdoor, organic and synthetic, sea-of-green and single-plant, closet grows and full rooms.
- The "autos vs photos" argument is retired here. Share what works for you without putting down how anyone else grows.
- Beginners are the reason this forum exists. Assume good faith and answer the question that was actually asked.
Debate the grow, never the grower
Strong opinions and honest disagreement are healthy. Contempt for other members is not.
- Push back on a technique or a claim, not on the person or their choice of genetics.
- No insults, mocking, name-calling, or "snob" / "you people" framing.
- Disagree, then move on. Circling back to needle the same person or restart the same fight is harassment.
No harassment or pile-ons
Targeting a member — one person or a group of them — has no place here.
- No personal attacks, threats, slurs, or dismissive jabs aimed at a member or a growing preference.
- Do not follow someone thread to thread to argue. Do not organize or join a pile-on.
- Repeat offenders are warned, then removed. We would rather lose a loud voice than a welcoming room.
Keep it constructive, not disruptive
Add something. Threads should move a discussion forward, not derail it.
- No spamming the same take, copy-paste replies, or rehashing a settled argument across every thread.
- Stay roughly on topic and use the right category so people can actually find and follow the conversation.
- One good reply beats ten repetitive ones.
No misleading claims
People make real growing and health decisions based on what they read here. Accuracy matters.
- Share your own results and experience freely — "in my grow, this happened" is always welcome.
- Do not present fabricated or unverified health, safety, legal, medical, or germination claims as established fact.
- If you are not sure, say so. "I think" and "worked for me" are honest; stated-as-fact misinformation is not.
Keep it legal, keep it clean
The basics that keep the community safe and open.
- No sourcing, selling, or asking where to buy product. Discussion of growing only.
- No spam or self-promotion. Share knowledge, not advertisements.
- Follow the laws that apply where you are.

Let us know at contact@royalkingseeds.com with a link to the post. We review reports, give people a chance to course-correct, and remove content or members that keep breaking these guidelines. Enforcement is about keeping the community welcoming, not winning arguments.
