Defoliation guide — when and how much to remove

Light defoliation during veg (tucking first, removing only what blocks light to lower branches). Heavy defoliation ("lollipop") in early flower — remove lower branches that won't reach the canopy. Strategic leaf removal at day 21 and day 42 of flower. Never remove more than 20% of leaves at once.
