Ordering seeds

Does anyone had a problems with seeds, because from like 9 seeds and trying to germinate them only 3 worked, everything else is waste of time. How is yours experience guys?

Welcome to the forum Mirza. A 3 out of 9 rate is rough, but before blaming the seeds it's worth looking at your germination method since temperature, moisture level, and water quality knock out a lot of seeds before they ever get a chance. What technique were you using?

Three out of nine is not great, but i'd want to know how old those seeds were before anything else. Age kills viability faster than bad technique does, in my experience. I've cracked open packs that sat in a drawer two years and got maybe half, cracked fresh stock and hit nine for nine. Storage matters as much as germination method. Where did you get them and how were they packaged when you received them?

age matters sure, but technique kills more seeds than people want to admit. i've seen guys crack fresh beans from sealed packs and still get 50% because they're drowning them in water or using tap with too much chlorine. storage is half the story at best.

Technique definitely matters but i'd push back a little on storage being only half the story. If seeds are sitting in a warm humid drawer for a year before you even open the pack, no amount of perfect germination technique is gonna save them. That said, the chlorine thing is real, i let my tap water sit out overnight now and it made a noticeable difference.

The storage point is valid, but i'd add that even properly stored seeds can hit a wall around 2-3 years depending on viability percentage at harvest. Sitting water does cut chlorine, though if you're serious about it, just use RO or pH-balanced filtered water from the start and skip the guesswork entirely. My germ rate went from maybe 70% to consistently 95%+ just by switching to RO at 6.2 pH and keeping temps at 78F.
