Anyone switched from single-bucket DWC to RDWC?

Running four individual DWC buckets right now in my 4x4 and the pH and EC management is starting to wear on me. Each bucket drifts at its own pace, so i'm checking four separate reservoirs daily, sometimes adjusting them all differently. Last run I had one bucket sitting at 6.1 while another was at 5.6, same strain, same feed schedule. It's manageable but it eats time. I've been looking at building or buying a recirculating setup so everything connects to one central reservoir. The appeal is obvious: one pH and EC reading controls everything, one adjustment, done. But i've also read about pathogen spread being a bigger risk when all your roots share water, and that one pump failure can tank the whole system instead of just one plant. Anybody here made that jump? Curious whether the consistency gains are actually as good as they look on paper, or if you traded one set of headaches for another. What size res did you end up running, and how are you handling temps at the central reservoir?
