No-till living soil grow – Purple Punch from seed to smoke
Documenting my organic no-till Purple Punch grow. This is cycle #6 in the same soil — never replaced, just top-dressed between runs.
**The Soil:** Living super soil with active worm population, cover crop, and mycelial network
**Inputs:** Tap water, occasional compost tea, kelp foliar spray
**Results after 11 weeks of flower:**
- Dense, frosty buds with deep purple colors
- Grape/berry aroma fills the whole room
- Zero nutrient deficiencies — the soil does the work
- Yield: 4.2 oz per plant (2 plants in a 4x4)
The flavor difference between living soil and synthetic nutrients is real. If you care about terps and clean smoke, try organic at least once.

Mostly plant feedback at this point — I know the soil well. I top-dress with worm castings and kelp meal between cycles, add fresh mulch, and let the cover crop regrow. The worms do most of the heavy lifting.
If something looks off, I'll do a soil slurry test, but that's rare now. The soil is fully mature and self-sustaining.

The fact that you're on cycle #6 with the same soil is incredible. Do you ever test the soil to check nutrient levels? Or just go by plant feedback?

This is the way to grow for medical quality. No salt buildup, no pH issues, and the terpene profiles from living soil are genuinely therapeutic. My patients always prefer organic-grown flower.
