Jar vs grove bag curing, what are you guys using?
Been curing in mason jars for years and i'm pretty happy with it, but my buddy keeps telling me grove bags are the way to go now. He says set it and forget it, no burping needed. Part of me thinks that sounds too easy, like when my kids told me the dishwasher would "basically clean itself" if i loaded it wrong. It did not.
I ran a pound of Blue Gelato last harvest and split it three ways, mason jars, grove bags, and one small batch in a plastic CVault. Honestly the grove bags surprised me, smell retention was really good at the 4 week mark. Jars still felt like i had more control though, especially the first two weeks when i want to check moisture daily.
Curious what the rest of you are doing. Are grove bags worth switching to full time or do you still go back to jars for certain strains? And does anyone actually use the CVault long term or is that more of a storage thing?

I use Ziploc Freezer bags for trim, Stash Logix jars for daily smoking, and Spider Farmer Smart Jars for long term storage.
If I run out of jars, I use Ziploc Freezer Bags in a Pelican brand road case (the Pelican Air model series).
