Week 4 DWC update, running into some EC drift

Quick update on my current run, Gorilla Glue auto in a 4x4 DWC setup under a 600w HPS dialed to about 75% with a supplemental QB for spectrum coverage. Plants are on day 28 from sprout and looking solid overall, internodal spacing is tight and canopy is pretty even after some LST work last week. I've been targeting 1.4 EC / 980 ppm (using the 700 scale) through late veg and the plants responded well. Bumped to 1.65 EC this week since i'm seeing the first signs of pistils on two of the four plants. pH has been sitting at 5.9 to 6.1, which i know is slightly high for DWC but i've had better iron uptake there compared to holding strict 5.7 to 5.8. The problem i ran into is EC drift. Reservoir is 12 gallons and i top off daily with plain water around 0.3 EC, but i've been noticing the EC climbs 0.1 to 0.15 over a 48-hour window even accounting for transpiration. Water temp is holding at 67F so i don't think it's a root rot situation. No visible slime, roots look white. My gut says the plants are drinking more water than they're consuming nutrients at this EC, but it's a bigger drift than i've seen before with this strain. Considering dropping the reservoir EC back down to 1.5 and watching the drift rate over the next 48 hours to see if it corrects. Anyone running GG autos or similar in DWC who's seen this pattern mid-transition? Curious if this is just the strain being finicky or if i'm missing something in my topping routine.
