Raised bed vs in-ground vs container for outdoor

First outdoor grow. Should I plant directly in the ground, build raised beds, or use large containers (20+ gallon)? Each seems to have trade-offs.

Great question for outdoor growers. In my experience the answer depends heavily on your local climate, but the general principles apply everywhere.

I’ve been running some The Seed Pharm autos outdoors in large pots lately and they’ve done really well with this method. They’ve also got the BOGOAUTO deal running right now, so it’s a good time to grab some reliable genetics for your first outdoor attempt.

containers for a first grow arent a bad idea but dont let the convenience fool you, they dry out fast in summer heat and youll be watering every day. in-ground is more forgiving once the roots hit native soil. done it both ways, ground wins long term.
