Genetics set the ceiling, but growing technique determines how close you get. Here's how to push your high THC seeds to their maximum potency potential:
Light intensity: THC production is directly correlated with light intensity. Use 600–1000W HPS or high-quality LED panels providing 800–1000+ PPFD during flowering. More light = more trichomes = more THC. See our indoor growing guide.
Temperature control: Keep daytime temps at 75–82°F during flowering with a 10°F drop at night. Cooler nighttime temps help express colors and boost trichome production. Avoid temps above 85°F as this can degrade cannabinoids.
Nutrient strategy: Reduce nitrogen in mid-to-late flower and increase phosphorus and potassium. Use bloom-specific nutrients with boosters like PK 13/14 during weeks 4–6 of flower. Flush for the final 1–2 weeks.
