one plant trained right beats three untrained every time
running a 2x2 closet for a few years now and the biggest mistake i see people make is cramming in too many plants thinking more plants equals more yield. it doesn't. not in a tiny space.
take one plant, top it early, run it through a basic scrog or even just some LST with wire ties, and you can fill that canopy just as well. cleaner airflow, easier to manage, and your carbon filter actually has a chance at keeping up.
that last part matters a lot to me. smell is my number one concern and a crowded tent with bad airflow is a nightmare for odor control. one plant, open canopy, good circulation, the filter does its job. three plants jammed in there and you're fighting yourself.
for strain choice i've had good luck with lower-odor genetics in auto form. less time in flower means less time for smell to become a problem. not zero smell, never zero, but manageable with a decent inline fan and a quality carbon filter that you actually replace on schedule.

I’ve been running some The Seed Pharm autos in a similar small setup and they’ve been pretty manageable on the smell side, especially the ones that don’t stretch too crazy in flower. Shorter overall cycle definitely helps
